On October 4, 2011, the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors adopted a resolution commending the Mojave Desert Heritage and Cultural Association for its dedication to the preservation of the County's historic past and the members of the MDHCA Board of Directors for their tireless cooperation and volunteer work and respect for the heritage and history of the desert.

On October 11, 2008, in honor of the dedication of the Mojave Desert Archives Library, Senate Majority Whip Harry Reid (D-NV) presented this Certificate of Commendation to the Mojave Desert Heritage and Cultural Association.
On August 25, 2008, Senate Majority Whip Harry Reid (D-NV) toured the newly completed Library building today. The Goffs Depot, upon which the design of the Library was based, connected the shortline Nevada Southern Railroad with the mainline of the Santa Fe at Goffs. Searchlight, Nevada was the terminus at the other end of the Nevada Southern. Senator Reid grew up in Searchlight and still calls that former mining town his home. MDHCA board members had the pleasure of visiting with the Senator, who declared the Library to be a fine building.

On May 2, 2003, Dennis and Jo Ann Casebier unveil a new Route 66 Roadside Attraction sign for the Goffs Schoolhouse as part of Hampton Hotels' Save a Landmark™ program. "From mining exhibits and authentic structures to Route 66 memorabilia, this is a must see stop for any history buff."
On June 20, 1998, Kathy Davis, Supervisor of San Bernardino County's 1st District, presents Dennis Casebier, the Friends of the Mojave Road, and the MDHCA with a resolution from the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors, honoring Dennis for his lifetime of dedication to the preservation of records of the County's past and history of the desert.
On October 13, 1991, Goffs Schoolhouse 1914 plaque placed by the Billy Holcomb chapter of the Ancient and Honorable Order of E Clampus Vitus and the Friends of the Mojave Road. "Serving the needs of the people supporting expanding travel on the National Old Trails Road—later U.S. Highway 66—the new school featured a distinctive mission style. The new school house was a source of pride for the community until the spring of 1937 when Route 66 was realigned, thus moving traffic away from Goffs."

On October 6, 1990, a Letter of Appreciation presented by Ed Hastey, California BLM State Director, to Dennis G. Casebier for "Superior Public Service" upon completion of the East Mojave Heritage Trail and for the enhancement of recreational opportunities on public lands. "Dennis has set a standard for managing desert visitation for all agencies to follow...providing the traveler with an interpretation of the human history and natural environment found along the route."
On October 7, 1989, National Award presented by Robert F. Burford, BLM Director, to the Friends of the Mojave Road for exemplary contributions "to the conservation and management of natural or cultural resources of the United States through volunteer service for America's Public Lands."
On 8October 8, 1988, Key to the City of Nipton presented to Dennis Casebier and the Friends of the Mojave Road by Gerald Freeman, owner of Nipton, "...in appreciation for all your efforts and support in the renaissance of Nipton, California."
"Our Door Is Always Open"
On June 20, 1988, awards ceremony at Mid Hills Campground. Secretary of the Interior Donald Hodel presents CDCA Certificate of Appreciation to Dennis Casebier and the Friends of the Mojave Road. Earlier in the day, the Friends escorted the Secretary over a portion of the Mojave Road from the intersection of Kelbaker Road and Aiken Cinder Mine Road to the Mid Hills Campground.
On June 20, 1988, California Desert Conservation Area Certificate of Appreciation presented to the Friends of the Mojave Road by Secretary of the Interior Donald Hodel, "in recognition of your efforts to educate the public in desert etiquette through your interpretive guide books for the East Mojave National Scenic Area."
On June 20, 1988, a Tribute to the Friends of the Mojave Road by the Honorable Jerry Lewis of California, House of Representatives, and entered into the Congressional Record of the 100th Congress. "Mr. Speaker, I rise to give honor to Dennis G. Casebier and his volunteer organization Friends of the Mojave Road for their valuable contributions to the Nation through creation of interpretive vehicle trails in the California desert."
