FRIENDS OF THE MOJAVE ROAD REUNION
Your fellow FOMR Daniel Fison contacted us with a wonderful suggestion, a FOMR reunion here at Goffs! His message reminded us that the recreation, camping and history enjoyed today by so many off-road enthusiast and overlanders in the East Mojave is due to the many volunteers who dedicated their time and resources to Dennis Casebier’s vision over 45 years ago. Dan, like many early members who helped with boots on the ground, helped make the recreational 4×4 trail on the “old Government Road to Fort Mojave” now known as the “Mojave Road” a reality.
In order to recognize these origins and acknowledge the efforts of these “Desert Rat” Adventurers, we wish to invite all the original Friends of the Mojave Road (FOMRs) to a reunion during our 47th Mojave Road Rendezvous on Saturday October 17, 2026. There is no fee for the reunion, just RSVP so that we may get an accurate headcount for the Saturday night BBQ dinner. However, if you wish to attend the entire Rendezvous we ask that you register for the Rendezvous (once registration opens in July).
